Kassi
Hampel,
24, has
been
dancing
almost
all of
her life
and has
trained
with
some of
the most
prestigious
instructors
in the
business.
During her
dance
competition
years, Kassi
was one of
10 chosen to
join the
Radio City
Rockettes in
2003; she
earned Miss
Starpower,
Miss
Spotlight,
and Miss
Dance USA;
and in 2002
won the
scholarship
award for
the Tremaine
Dance
Convention.
She began
dancing at
the age of 2
and during
her 22-year
dance career
trained at
The Edge
Performing
Arts Center
and the
Millennium
Dance Center
in Hollywood
, CA . She
also trained
at the
Broadway
Dance Center
and Steps on
Broadway in
New York .
Some of her
mentors and
instructors
include Keri
LeGrande,
Kim
McSwain,
Adam
Parsons,
Jason
Meyhre,
and Melinda
Cordell. She
has
performed
across the
United
States and
performed on
a European
tour in
London and
Paris .
After many
years of
competitive
dance, Kassi
turned her
talents to
teaching the
next
generation
of dancers.
She has
taught and
choreographed
for studios
all over
California
and in North
Carolina .
She was a
part of
teaching an
award-winning
competition
team in
California
and won the
overall
choreography
award in
2007 at
the Hollywood
Connection dance
convention.
Kassi was
the Manager
and Dance
Director for
Dance Fusion
In Sierra
Vista,
Arizona for
3 years,
where she
was
responsible
for
overseeing
the staff,
and teaching
a variety of
classes
including
the
competition
team. She
has a true
passion for
the art of
dance, and
enjoyed
sharing that
with the
students of
Dance
Fusion.
Kassi, who
is a native
of
California, has
just
returned
home after
residing on
Fort
Huachuca
with her
husband, SSG
Brian Hampel,
U.S. Army.
They now
have two
ADORABLE
children,
Trevor and
Zakary.
